![]() The tailpiece is adjustable in height and features a low-profile design that allows for low action adjustment even on guitars which have a shallow neck angles. The CTT bridge assembles to the original stock trapeze rods. The MojoAxe CTT bridge allows for conversion to a much more playable top-wrap setup with making any permanent modifications that would have a negative impact on the value of the guitar. When Les Paul collaborated with Gibson on the design of the original 1952 Goldtop, he requested a top-wrap bridge, however Gibson "screwed up" (Les Paul's words) wrapping the strings underneath the bridge, thus rendering the guitar almost unplayable. When the MojoAxe tailpiece is installed onto these models, the original pedestals and thumbwheels are re-used for height adjustment rather than the CTT's low-profile height adjustment screw. ![]() This tailpiece was designed with the 1952-1953 Goldtop Les Paul in mind, however it is also compatible with ES-225 and ES-295 models.
